Located on the first floor of a six-unit building, Cabin 14 is the perfect place to use as a base camp for your mountain adventures. The room is always fully stocked with extra blankets, dishes, silverware and of course, coffee! This room has a Keurig coffee maker as well as a variety of coffee pod flavors, as well as cream and sugar. The bathroom is always stocked with fluffy towels and complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner. The only sink in the room is the large kitchen sink- there is not a separate bathroom sink. This is a hotel-style unit. It is in the same building as other units- they all have their own exterior entrances. Sorry, no pets allowed in hotel. Our water system relies on a well, and we request your assistance in conserving water regularly while in Colorado. You do not need four wheel drive to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you! We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash. Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents!
