The lovely fireplace has an electric heater for ambiance and warmth. The kitchen is in this space as well and has a stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster and of course, a coffee maker. The kitchen is always fully stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, coffee, cream and sugar. OUTSIDE SPACE This lovely cabin has a front porch with 2 chairs on it. Make a cup of coffee and sit on the porch and watch the sunrise. If you are lucky, you may see deer, elk or mountain goats walking across the property. You do not need 4WD to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you! The city of Estes Park runs a shuttle service in the summer months and there is a stop within walking distance to the cabins. We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash. Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents!
