Pet Policy: Pre Approved Pets are welcome with a fee, but please do not leave them unattended without a kennel/crate. The easiest way to get around is by car. You do not need four wheel drive to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you! The city of Estes Park has a shuttle during the summer months and there is a stop within walking distance of the cabins. We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash. Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents!
